It’s important to us that we reward our employees for the excellent work they do. Health and Wellbeing

We understand that looking after your health and wellbeing is more than just providing free fruit. We have a comprehensive wellbeing strategy which includes providing employees with 24/7 access to the employee assistance programme (EAP) so you can access any support you need with regards to counselling, legal and financial matters to name a few.

Line managers are trained in how to support employee’s mental health and our wellbeing committee meet on a regular basis to roll out other initiatives. When you’re not feeling right, enhanced sick pay is paid for sickness absence and we have a compassionate leave policy which helps you take the time out you need to deal with personal matters. Paid time out to attend medical appointments is also provided.

We have full access to occupational health and neurodiversity providers to ensure any support you require from us can be implemented on the advice of professionals. Access to the private medical scheme is also available for those who meet grade/length of service requirements.

Work Life Balance and Family Friendly Benefits

Getting the right balance between work and day to day life can be a tricky task but we have the tools in place to help you achieve the balance that is right for you. Our agile working policy gives you the choice of where to work and our flexi hours give you the flexibility you may need at the start, middle or end of the day.

At the office

Free car parking is provided to all employees at all offices and those at Assistant Manager level or above are guaranteed a space at the office car park and other grades will be provided with a space within a short walking distance. Fresh fruit is provided on a fortnightly basis and tea, coffee and cold drinks are available all the time. Everyone has desk space available and is provided with all the equipment they need meaning you can join colleagues and work as part of your team in our friendly office environments. Our dress for your diary policy also gives you freedom to choose how you should dress for your day.

Social

Christmas parties, summer parties or ad hoc team events, we know the importance of fitting in some play time around the work time. Teams and colleagues are encouraged to get to know each other so everyone can feel part of the whole LB team and our newly introduced social committee and social fund ensures this happens.

Remuneration and financial

Making your money stretch further and saving for your future are complemented by our enhanced pension scheme (based on grade and length of service) and various corporate discounts. Pay reviews take place each year with incremental increases and reviews for students and promotions.

We have salary sacrifice schemes in place for pension contributions, buying additional holiday, cycle scheme and various other offerings to enable you to get the most out of these benefits.
